Every bread, pastry, plate and recipe you'll find here is free of the Big 8 food allergens, and many are also free of other common allergens such as corn, legumes and sesame.
Baked by Benita is a Specialty Pastry Studio run by Benita Gomez. Located on Tsalaguwetiyi (Cherokee, East) Land, also known as Asheville, North Carolina. My cakes, pastries and plates are anthropologically, and botanically inspired. Hand-crafted of the finest seasonal allergen free ingredients. Edible flowers, herbs and other botanical elements are grown either in my own organic garden, or purchased through other local foragers, farmers and florists.
I bake and cook from a cottage style home studio kitchen in North Asheville. You can custom order a cake or a weekly pastry box or hire me to cater your private event.
